  I bought the Smart Funnel a good number of years ago - at least ten years ago. The funnel is made of heavy plastic and a heavy-duty spring. I have been using it regularly when I need to marry mustard or ketchup containers.
  I have never had a problem with it, and it looks and works just as it did when I bought it years ago.
  I will be purchasing one for shampoos and cleaning products.
